Statement of Faith

Our sole textbook is the Bible, which is the only infallible and authoritative WORD OF GOD.

(2 Tim 3:16-17, 2 Pet 1:19-21, 1 Jn 5:9, Mtt 24:35)

·        We believe there is One God, eternally existing as God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

(Gen 1;1, Isa 9:6-7, 2 Cor 13:14, Mtt 28:19, Jn 14:16-17)

·        We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ – that He is the Son of God.  We believe in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death, His bodily resurrection, and His ascension to the right hand of the Father.

(Mtt 1:23, Jn 1:1-3, Heb 1:8, Jn 2:11, Isa 53:4-6, Mtt 28:6, Acts 1:9)

·        We believe in the second coming if Christ

(Jn 14:1-3, Acts 1:11, 1 Thes 4:15-17)

·        We believe that the gifts of the Holy Spirit are given to all believers just as He determines,

(1 Cor 12:1-11, 1 Cor 14:1-25)

·        We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit for all believers.

(Acts 1:1-8, 2:2-38, 8:15-19, 10:44-47, 19:1-7)

·        We believe in the spiritually lost condition of men.

(Gen 3, Rm 3:23, Rm 3:10)

·        We believe in the essential need to be born again by faith in Jesus Christ.

(Jn 3:3-16)

·        We believe that the only way to be cleansed from sin is through the precious blood of Christ.

(1 Pet 1;18-19)

·        We believe in the sacraments of the Lord’s Supper, and the Water Baptism of believers in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

(1 Cor 11:23-26, Mtt 26:26-28, Mk 16:16, Mtt 28:19)

·        We believe in Divine Healing by faith in Jesus.

(Mtt 8:16-17, James 5:14-15, Mk 16:17-18)

·        We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost – the one one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.

(Jn 3:36, Jn 5:28-29, 1 Thes 1:8-9, Rev 20:11-15)
